Every month I'll use a bit of my disposable income to support artists I enjoy. Buying a €10 digital album on Bandcamp sends ~€8 directly to the artist (or their label).

Some napkin math: You'd need to fully stream that album over 200 times on Spotify for them to earn the same. That's roughly 130 hours of listening.
