Ideas for this site
- [x] Introduce a Eleventy filter to automatically update the 'last updated' date based on
Git log.- Holy shit it works! 😆
- [x] Add a fully automated human readable sitemap
- [WON'T DO] Automate the changelog based on Git commit messages?
- Commit messages are 'ugly'. What if I could get an LLM to rewrite them into a more readable format?
- A ‘now reading’ Eleventy partial that automatically fetches book metadata from isbn.
Ideas for technology
- Use OpenCode or some other Claude Code alternative to communicate and do things with the new Obsidian CLI.
- Make a LLM Chatbot for my resume. Use RAG to enhance the chat my resume. Allow people to ask questions about my professional experience.
- Edit: Actually made a functional PoC! 🚀
- Automate “top 5 albums listened to last week” with … database/airtable-like and Listenbrainz API?
- Why not show the latest “Toot”/post from id.geff.re (GoToSocial) on the site?
- make a fediverse human music curation platform. Instead of posts you recommend recordings/records. Some mechanic allows you to tag “you might like”. No tags, but “for fans of” that people can follow.
Ideas for life
- Screaming vocals in metal are just natural distortion, like you put distortion on guitar–it's just not a good idea to ram a pencil through your vocal chords.
- Totally wanna try making lo-fi black metal with Garageband on iPad.
- Could I learn to screech-sing like the greats do?
- Could I create a non-profit for musicians struggling with financial stress?
